They are mainly the combination of two wastes: a by-product of the manufacture of kombucha, a probiotic drink made from tea and sugar, combined with vegetable waste such as: fruit peels like banana and orange, celery cellulose and/or harvesting pruning of plants such as lawns, papyrus, lilies, phylum, cattails, and other native plants of the region.

Because it is a textile material based on plant and bacterial cellulose, bioleather contributes to reducing the carbon footprint and consuming less raw material. It does not contain any element that pollutes and it is transformed into open-air or domestic compost once its useful life is over. Bioleather is a quality product that promotes a sustainable and circular economy.
